Friends, it is with excitement that I announce the upcoming release of some new music: “Field Song” and “Selected Ecotones” will both be out on August 9th.
Field Song is a collection of songs for the solo voice, recorded live in natural areas with the songs of birds and frogs and plants and insects and wind and water. It documents an open-handed collaboration with the beings who share this land with us. It will be available digitally and on vinyl.
Selected Ecotones is a collection of short instrumental pieces composed between 2022-2023. This will be available digitally and in a limited run of cassettes.
Both of these albums are available for preorder on my bandcamp page. You can bundle them to receive a free poster and save on shipping. You can also listen to a track from each: “Mirror” from Field Song and “#11” from Selected Ecotones.
