To commemorate the release of “Field Song”, there will be a show on August 9th at the Walker United Methodist Church in South Minneapolis. Sara Pajunen will be opening the evening with a short set of hardanger d’amore music. I will then play the entire album from start to finish.
To sing this music, I will be utilizing tape loops that I have made of each of the soundscapes from the original recording. This will allow me to bring the birds and insects and frogs to you. There will be accompanying projected photographs of each of the recording sites, along with species lists and locations.
Vinyl, cassettes, download codes, and posters will be available for sale. Doors at 6:30, music 7pm. Tickets $10-20 sliding scale.
